Summary/Abstract: The monograph constitutes a compendium of knowledge related to the field of artistic performances approached in their diverse aspects, such as theatre, cinema, television and radio as well as dance, music, circus, press or art. The academic dimension of the work is manifested in the theoretical thorough literature overview, which introduces the reader into the world of artistic performances outlining at the same time their historical development, the interdisciplinary and complex nature of the corpus as well as extensive and rich bibliography.
