Summary/Abstract: The report presents the most important trends in German development policy and analyzes how Germany uses this policy to promote its own economic and political interests. To study these processes, the method of observing political events and the analysis of German government documents were primarily used. Talks were also held with German experts. Most of the data presented in the report comes from the databases of the Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
