Summary/Abstract: The book explores the development of the Czech curricular documents for basic education from the year 1989 to the end of the year 2017; it concerns in generalisation of proceedings taken and experiences acquired within. The book concerns also in description and evaluation of what has been recognized as substantial within curricular documents and educational standards setting in. The book uses therefore thoughts and authentic formulation from conception documents, other public policy papers developed by Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport and other public authorities of the Czech Republic, curricular document it selves, articles, interviews and actual legislation as illustration of the processes.
