Summary/Abstract: The study is devoted to the functioning and changes in the subject of law in Juliusz Słowacki’s works. The author reconstructs poet’s law imaginarium and shows how it was incorporated into his literary work. The publication reflects on the issues concerning scientific and professional life of Juliusz Słowacki. The book carefully analyses the connections between legal culture and Sarmatism, the influences of other legal traditions (English, Russian and Spartan) and the court scenes in tragedies.
