Summary/Abstract: Leaders have a very significant impact on the life of any organization or institution. It is no different in schools. In our environment, the reflection of the work of head teachers is not often at the centre of attention by professional publications. This book partially corrects this by looking at the phenomenon of educational leadership from the point of view of head teachers. The core of the text is the results of the author’s empirical research. Based on original data, it is demonstrated how headmasters can contribute to improving educational outcomes, how their work affects teacher work satisfaction, and tracks the patterns of their professional careers. From this point of view, the book offers stimuli both for further educational research and those interested among the ranks of headmasters and teachers who wish to further develop their work at school.
