Summary/Abstract: The book aims to connect the view of anthropologists and photographers while using photographic methods in biological anthropology. Therefore, a photographer and an anthropologist met for this purpose as they are experienced in these fields and their work often extends into many other disciplines especially photographic documentation and popularization of science and working with digital images in the education. The intention of the authors of this uniquely focused text was to facilitate and simplify communication between the area of professional photography and the area of its practical usage in biological anthropology and archeology. The purpose of this publication is to allow photographers to understand the needs of anthropologists when adjusting photographic methods for specific documentation tasks, and at the same time to allow anthropologists to learn the basics of photographic techniques and extend the application possibilities in their work. This publication was created for biological anthropologist and those interested in this field as well as for photographers who want to cooperate with specialists in various scientific disciplines. The authors hope that in addition to professionals, students and non-professional people interested in the field of biological anthropology, this book will find its readership also in related fields such as archeology, medicine or scientific photography in general.
