Summary/Abstract: The background and reasons why the Prague-based ORBIS Publishing House, having played a significant role during the 1930s in publishing important books and booklets for the rote of democratic Czechoslovakia in a democratic Europe, decided to publish in 1951 an Albanian-language edition of a collection of photographs and drawings on Vladimir Lenin, will probably remain a historical mystery. Having found a copy of the book on a market in Tirana, CEEOL is offering a digitized copy of this volume. It containsa the text of a Short Biography of Lenin translated into Albanian, as it was offered at that time by the Marx-Engels-Lenin-OInstitute in Moscow.
