Summary/Abstract: This book serves as a handy lexicon of the most important terms related to Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL). It is was designed primarily for teachers of foreign languages, but many of the solutions described in it can be successfully used in teaching a native language. Each of the alphabetically-arranged entries contains a brief explanation of the chosen concept and, where possible, information on the results of research on the effectiveness of a given solution. Many of the entries contain suggestions for free tools and ideas for activities to be used in the classroom or in self-study – all described in the section "How do I get started? (“Jak zacząć?”).
