Summary/Abstract: Published by the «Ahnenerbe-Stiftung» («Foundation for Ancestral Heritage») 1939 in Berlin. As the name of the publishing foundation and the year of publication already indicate, in this essay the author expresses a clearly National-Socialist view of Central and Eastern Europe. Already in the first sentence he describes Nazi Germany‘s attack on Poland as a “necessary” reaction to the “deception of the Poles”, to the “political guilt of England” and to the “Dictate of Versailles”. And as the self-image of the NAZIs pretended (see title), their views to any part of the world had always a „world-historical“ dimension.
