Summary/Abstract: The monograph presents the analytical and research output of the first year’s activities of the University Observatory on Deinstitutionalisation of Aid Practices (Uniwersyteckie Obserwatorium Deinstytucjonalizacji Praktyk Pomocowych, UODI) – a partnership initiative of University of Warsaw’s Faculty of Applied Social Sciences and Resocialisation, Centre for Europe, and Robert Zajonc Institute for Social Studies. In 2022, the Observatory analysed aid activities in six problem areas (fosterage, disability, mental health, addictions, homelessness and senior programmes). Secondly, it looked at the emergence of deinstitionalisation policy in the European Union. Thirdly, aid addressed to Ukrainian war refugees was examined.
