Summary/Abstract: The debut book of poetry of the Silesian poet Karol Gwóźdź, whose poems amaze the readers with their maturity and transfer them to the extraordinary world of longing for the homeland, the land of childhood, reflecting, at the same time, the cry of thousands of Silesians for whom their land is of the highest value. The volume is filled with patriotic thoughts, memories, love, nature and nostalgia. The original poems in Silesian are accompanied by their translations into Ukrainian, which allows Ukrainian readers to understand Silesia and Silesians and illustrates some parallels between the fate of Silesians and Ukrainians.
