Summary/Abstract: The book Proměny hudební pedagogiky (Changes in Music Pedagogy) was created as a professional music pedagogy material that focuses on current topics of art education and presents chapters with innovative didactic and methodological principles, based on domestic and foreign research of individual authors and their experience. Information of professional nature, as well as ideas for music education practice, can be found here by music educators, for whom this book is primarily intended, but also by others interested in the field. The chapters focus on the individual stages of music education – i.e. from kindergarten, primary and secondary education to artistic education at art schools and in artistic associations and choirs. Therefore, this publication offers new and interesting topics that will serve as an example of professional music education practice in the context of historical development and changes in music education intervention. The presented publication is primarily motivated by the 100th birth anniversary of prof. Ladislav Daniel.
