Summary/Abstract: This publication responds to the results of quantitative research exploring the attitudes of teaching staff towards selected aspects of collaborative learning (Michalík, Baslerová, Růžička et al, The aim of this research was to identify, analyse and subsequently describe the current state of awareness of pedagogical staff in the Czech Republic in relation to the education of children, pupils and students with special educational needs, especially their attitudes, awareness, needs, opinions and evaluation towards the current reality given by the validity of the amendment to the Education Act No. 82/2015 Coll., since its effective date, i.e. September 2016, when the conditions of education of children, pupils and students with special educational needs changed.
