Summary/Abstract: The publication Spa and Wellness discusses spa as a branch of health care and as a part of tourism. The topics presented to the reader include the historical development of the spa industry, spa care, spa tourism, the current state of spa care in the Czech Republic and the economics of the spa industry. A chapter on wellness, its development, theory and types of services is also an integral part of this topic.
