Summary/Abstract: The book is dedicated to the memory of Professor Henryk Groszyk, and gathers contributions from distinguished researchers working on topics close to his research areas. Professor Henryk Groszyk (1926-2009) was one of the best acknowledged Polish experts on theory of state and law, who had magnificent impact on the development of this field of research in Poland. Many of his publications are listed amongst the most influential theoretical dissertations upon political studies and legal theory. He also hold many significant offices, e.g. being a Judge of Constitutional Tribunal (1985-1993). Throughout almost his whole life he was associated with the Faculty of Law and Administration of UMCS (since 1977 as professor) and left a broad group of disciples and followers. He also had great contribution to the development of the students' scientific movement in the Faculty, being incessantly since 1965 the Supervisor of the Law Students' Scientific Association of UMCS. The book will be of interest to researchers in fields of law.
