Summary/Abstract: There is cross-analysis of the professional philosophizing in the country after the Liberation, with emphasis on the totalitarian and post-totalitarian time in the book. The studies Included in the thematic volume were written after the beginning of the new millennium and based on a common methodological ground - the term "philosophical culture." They go through a wide range of problems: periodization of the history of modern philosophical culture; tendencies in the development of the philosophical college; review of the academic career development of the philosophers in the country; giving meaning to the work of some leading figures in the Bulgarian philosophical community (I. Georgov, M. Buchvarov); thoughts on the current state and near future of the philosophical guild in Bulgaria.
