Summary/Abstract: The book concerns history of political ideas which formed the landscape of Poland under occupation and then, its struggles with the difficulties of building its own statehood. Textbook is addressed to the academic reader with an interest in transitions of political ideas in Poland and a Central Europe in general. The intention of the editors of the book is to provide a clear guide to the complexities of the multiplicity of ideological positions and proposals arising from the Polish lands in the years 1815–1939.
