Summary/Abstract: The volume of talks between Herkus Kusaus and Piotr Kepinski, a Lithuanian and a Pole, two medium-sized writers. It is not only a dialogue between writers belonging to relatives, from the historical point of view of fraternal nations, but above all a conversation of people with similar experiences. Diverse conversations concern the Soviet era, musical and literary fascinations, the views of their generation on the world, historical events and the recent past. The most current topics, such as the conflict in Ukraine or the situation of the Polish minority in Lithuania are also discussed. As Adam Michnik said in the preface, the book is a praise of conversation, not only between representatives of the same generation, but also between countries, because their mouths are told the experience of countries in which there are more similarities than stereotypical differences.
