Summary/Abstract: The publication documents the theoretical and conceptual grounds of the Report Laboratory founded by the outstanding reporter Mark Miller, operating at the Faculty of Journalism, Information and Book Studies, the University of Warsaw. It discusses the status of reporting as a journalistic practice and form as well as a journalistic-literary form, the methodology of work of a reporter and a participant of the creative and research workshops. The book highlights the relationships between journalism and fiction literature, film and theater, and the social sciences and humanities research.
