Summary/Abstract: The Polish Institute of International Affairs, in cooperation with the Indian Council of World Affairs, held the third bilateral seminar entitled India and Poland: Vistas for Future Partnership, on May 17, 2012. The event gathered around 50 diplomats, officials, analysts and academics from both countries, including Poland’s Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Jerzy Pomianowski, and the Indian Ambassador to Poland, Ms. Monika Kapil Mohta. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss perspectives on strengthening bilateral cooperation between Poland and India. The conference addressed the following three crucial issues: prospects for a “strategic partnership”, defence and economic cooperation, and perceptions and policies regarding major regional and global challenges.
