Summary/Abstract: The author presents the activities of contemporary Polish artists from a pedagogical perspective. I am looking for common threads undertaken by artists and critical educators, analyzing selected artistic projects of Polish contemporary art, describing them and situating them in a pedagogical context. It presents the educational possibilities of art from the perspective of critical pedagogy, pointing not only to the aesthetic values of works, but also to tolerance, dialogue with other people, interpersonal relationships, subjectivity, and democracy in education.The publication is a great source of knowledge about selected works of Polish contemporary art for use by teachers in working with young people and adults, and a perfect complement to knowledge about contemporary art for educators.
