Summary/Abstract: Subalternity is important. This study aims to philosophically investigate the notion of ‘subalternity’ with regard to a variety of minority issues in Central and Eastern Europe. Although a lot has been written about, too little has been achieved in practice. Therefore, this monograph gives a different perspective over the notion of “minority” in the attempt to reopen new and old places of confrontation that would potentially diversify scholarly trajectories of critical investigation.
