Summary/Abstract: The book focuses on the fundamental issues of sociological theory, including sociological un-derstanding of the concept of society and social life. The main theoretical perspective of this work is rooted in the idea of the process of social practice formulated in works of Georg Hegel and Karl Marx, as well as in the different ways of interpreting Marx's thoughts in this regard. It reinterprets the concept of practice in the perspective of systemic thinking, including, chaos theory, the idea of autopoietic systems and Niklas Luhmann's theory of the social system, as an example of the sociological application of the idea of autopoietic system. Consequently, it pro-poses a certain understanding of the process of practice as a philosophical and social category. The book focuses on the fundamental issues of sociological theory, including sociological un-derstanding of the concept of society and social life.
