Summary/Abstract: The publication contains a unique, for both the Polish and the European Union publishing markets, collection of translations of three most relevant Ukrainian laws which regulate the energy sector, namely: 1. Act of Ukraine No 2019-VIII of 13 April 2017 on the electricity market (Закон України від 13 квітня 2017 року № 2019-VIII «Про ринок електроенергії»), 2. Act of Ukraine No 329-VIII of 9 April 2015 on the natural gas market (Закон України від 9 квітня 2015 року № 329-VIII «Про ринок природного газу»), and Act of Ukraine No 1540-VIII of 22 September 2016 on the National Commission for the State Regulation within Energy and Public Utility Services (Закон України від 22 вересня 2016 року № 1540-VIII «Про Національну Комісію що здійснює державне регулювання у сферах енергетикита комунальних послуг»). The above Acts are preceded by selected articles of the Constitution of Ukraine; chosen by the Editor articles comprise the so-called “Economic Constitution” of Ukraine (i.e. refer to the setup of the state’s economic system). This is the first of two publications that were funded as part of a scientific project by the Polish National Science Centre, ID: 332425, registration no. 2016/21/B/HS5/00054, contract no. UMO-2016/21/B/HS5/00054 (realization 2017-2020).
