Summary/Abstract: The process of energy transformation and the pursuit of zero emissions will also affect the conditions for doing business in the transport sector. At present, there are three possible alternatives to reduce the emissions of this sector of the economy: methanation, electrification and hydrogenation. This article assesses the applicability of these alternatives to the activities of companies in the transport sector.
