Summary/Abstract: The chapter attempts to describe metaphors of health and disease applied in fascist and communist ideologies. There is no doubt that the notion of disease as the source domain serves to stigmatize the enemy and justify radical solutions aimed at their physical elimination. Conceptualizations of disease as a method of exclusion and elimination of opponents, and as the loss of control by society, are presented on the basis of ideological speeches, press articles and literary texts.
