Summary/Abstract: The current stagnation in Slovenian art would not be disturbing at all and nothing special - finally there is a lot of such zealous failure in the whole of Europe - if such a situation had not occurred after many turbulent periods, which allows us to understand the current situation as the opposite and immanent self-negation of activity: as the realization of the second part - the antithesis - of contradictions, inscribed in the so-called avant-garde art as its invisible part.
