Summary/Abstract: The paper presents an analysis of the issue of social bonds in the context of transformationthe Maghreb countries have experienced since their independence after thecolonization period (Algeria 1962; Tunisia and Morocco 1956) until the present day. Themost influential aspects of the analysis have turned out to be: signs of bonds, solidarity, principle of reciprocation, and reasons for transformation of bonds and appearance ofnew family and solidarity configurations induced by the transformation. Undoubtedly, the transformation of social bonds has been shaped by internal migration (from ruralto urban territories), economic crisis, right to education and paid labour, as well asmedia. In consequence, these factors have led to the formation of individualization andautonomy of the human being.
