Summary/Abstract: The article examines Russia‘s foreign policy towards some countries in the Western Balkans (WB). In order to realize its interests and to project its influence, Moscow is taking a number of different measures and activities, which in modern analysis in the field of defense and security are called hybrid threats. At the very beginning of the article, the various concepts of the concept of hybrid warfare are discussed, and after analyzing its characteristics, a working definition is derived. Subsequently, various aspects of Russia‘s bilateral relations with the WB countries of interest to their foreign policy were examined. The exhibition presents the main forms, methods and tools for projecting Moscow‘s influence in the countries under consideration.
