Summary/Abstract: The article proposes a joint reading of selected poems by Maurice Federman and Vera Feyder, father and daughter. The father, a Polish Jew murdered in Auschwitz, left only one book of poetry; his daughter began her poetic work 16 years after her father’s death. The two poets find, beyond the reach of time and death, the same voice that speaks of loss, nostalgia, and the importance of the other.
