Summary/Abstract: The paper analyzes the State Educational Program for Pre-Primary Education in Kindergartens with an emphasis on the Health and Movement education area. The purpose of the paper is to present the current state of implementation of health education and a healthy lifestyle education of children in the curriculum of kindergartens in Slovakia. It represents pre-chool age as the first period of institutional activity in the area of health education. It points out forms of health education in the day mode of kindergarten. It emphasizes the necessary to look for another possibilities for supporting the health and healthy lifestyle of the child population.
