Summary/Abstract: The following article deals with the problem of integrating security issues into the study programme of faculties training teachers in individual fields of education. The article brings an insight into the European Union, specifically the OSHA on health and safety education. Recommendations for integration into education with an emphasis on higher education are developed. A strategy of culture of safety and culture of health is introduced.
