Summary/Abstract: Key and future competences are a very important part of the educational process, and the obligation to teach them is included in the preamble to the core curriculum of general education. The article presents a reflection on the role of Polish language education as well as future and key competences in primary school. Based on the work of Jeremi Lamri and other researchers, a list of skills useful in the labor market has been presented. It was also shown how the competences of the future can be developed with the help of Polish language education projects.
