Summary/Abstract: This paper attempts to describe the work of the Family Law and Policy Group based within the Research Committee for the Sociology of Law and the contribution of Małgorzata Fuszara to its formulation and dissemination. We are a long way from black letter legal analysis and a long way from more descriptive empirical socio-legal studies: we aim to develop the Sociology of Law in family matters.
