Summary/Abstract: The present publication examines the first part of the kondika, the first 29 pages, covering the period from 1870 to 1877, i.e. to Liberation. This is the time when the Bulgarian Abaji esnaf (guild) worked under the foreign rule and in competition with the Greek abaji guild; time of confirmation of the Bulgarian Exarchy and of the Bulgarian church communities; time of the last stage of the national liberation struggle of the Bulgarian people. After Liberation, the conditions were already different and the relationships in this area changed governed by legislation in Eastern Rumelia until 1885 and in the Principality of Bulgaria.
