Summary/Abstract: The article claims to present key issues related to understanding the problem of migration and refugees in the doctrine of Catholic social teaching, whose message is to promote the conditions and foundations for the peace in the world. Papal messages, annually published for the World Migrant and Refugee Day, become a form of concretization of this doctrine, paying attention to important issues concerning migration and refugees in the modern world.
