Summary/Abstract: The basic teaching of macroeconomics is based on the principle of managing scarce resources in the most efficient way against endless needs. Liberal economic theories are shaped according to this principle. According to this understanding, countries, societies and individuals who can manage scarce resources in the best way increase their welfare and become prosperous. Societies that fail to achieve this become poorer or fall into the underdeveloped country class.
