Summary/Abstract: This report examines the spread of political science in universities in the Western Balkans. Its title completely coincides with the first sentence of the title of this material. The focus of the study is on the regional dimension and does not affect pan– European and global trends. The purpose of the analysis is to establish whether political science is sufficiently widespread west of the Bulgarian border and what is its general level. The final conclusion will serve as a starting point for the next development of the author on this topic, which will cover the problems and realities of political science education in other Balkan countries.
