Summary/Abstract: The article examines an approach and offers an analysis of the representation of the basic cinema terms included in the Terminological Encyclopedic Dictionary of Arts. The approaches used to describe these terms in the most Bulgarian specialized reference guides like encyclopedias and dictionaries in cinema are overviewed. The specificity of the terminography approach used for the representation of the cinema terms is outlined on the basis of analyses and comparisons in such a way as to illustrate the terms’ typology as reflected in the overall structure of the dictionary. It is noted that these terms are related to each other as well as to the terms from other arts included in the dictionary.
