Summary/Abstract: The article aims to explore the possibilities for continuity in the development of criminal law, which are limited. The paper analyses individual criteria that define the limits of continuity in the development of criminal legislation. It is concluded that the limits of continuity in the development of criminal legislation are related either to its content or to its legal form, or to both.
