Summary/Abstract: This article discusses grieving and the amount of time needed to come to terms with the death of a loved one. I decided to illustrate this by using the bond between two kids and their deceased father. This article focuses on how to take your time after you lose someone and how you need to process all of your emotions in order to be able to move on. It is because of this that broken people and broken relationships are portrayed. The fear of forgetting is one of the leitmotifs that you will find in this piece.
