Summary/Abstract: This paper introduces the results of a questionnaire survey among secondary-school teachers of French as a foreign language (FFL) in the Czech Republic. The topic of the survey was using and exploring authentic literary texts (ALT) in an FFL classroom. The results of the survey show that Czech FFL teachers are interested in using ALT in their FFL classrooms, they use ALT as an important source in language teaching and motivate their students to explore these resources as well.
