Summary/Abstract: The industrialization of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan is a crucial topic in the context of the aging population and economic transformation in these Central Asian countries. This paper aims to explore the impact of industrialization on the aging population, focusing on economic, social, and demographic aspects. The study will investigate how the industrialization process in these countries influences employment, social security, healthcare, and the overall well-being of older individuals. Additionally, it will analyze the opportunities and challenges that arise for the aging population in the context of evolving industrial landscapes in Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. Available secondary data was used for the analysis of economic transformation. In conclusion, recommendations are offered to mitigate the negative consequences of the aging population for transition economies.
