Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to recall and enrich the knowledge of dr. Lilli Berg-Platau, a friend of Edith Stein and Erna Biberstein. The history of their friendship, as well as Berg-Platau’s academic and professional biography, help to illustrate the problem of the double, or rather triple, work of women who reconciled family and professional duties, including social work. In Berg-Platau’s case, this took place both in Breslau and after her emigration to Palestine. It confirm a various sources: memoirs, archives, and the Jewish press – published in Breslau and also in Israel.
