Summary/Abstract: The article includes a brief analysis of the criminal subculture through the lens of special investigative activity. Knowing the negative image of the associations of the criminal world, we will more easily be able to penetrate the secrets of crime, we will better understand its development laws, the causes of its viability, and the factors (causes and conditions that favor it). The conclusions, with which the authors intervene through the modest research, will complete the arsenal of investigative ideas of the investigating officers in carrying out the tasks, stages, and phases of the special investigation process.
