Summary/Abstract: Communication competence refers to the ability to effectively and appropriately convey and interpret messages in various interpersonal, group, and public contexts. Human communication is at its most complex when one takes into account the variety of codes, channels, systems, and production methods, in addition to the intricacy of the process, form, and substance of communication. In the context of didactics, which involves the methods and techniques of teaching, communication competence is crucial for creating a positive and productive learning environment. While a teacher’s ability to communicate is sometimes innate, we must recognise that it can also be learned via their willingness and work to (self-) educate. The ability to solve educational problems and circumstances successfully requires a number of talents, including intelligence (which can be used as a tool for knowledge, comprehension, and success), memory, communication, logical thinking, observation, constructive imagination, focused attention, and diction. During communication, information is transferred between a sender and a recipient.
