Summary/Abstract: This work presents different perspectives on events that occurred in Slovenia during the Second World War in light of the newest historiographical works. In particular, the author comments on various interpretations and reinterpretations present in the scholarly and political life of Slovene society. The author underscores the interpretation that the war was both a war of liberation and a civil war, which is in line with the results of the newest works.
