Summary/Abstract: The present report on the influence of the process of integration to European Union on human rights of LGBT individuals in Republic of Slovenia consists of three parts with regard to the phase of Republic of Slovenia’s process of accession to European Union. In the first part, there is the analysis of existing legislation regarding sexual orientation before the process of accession with superficial mention of legislative changes introduced shortly after the achieved status of independence–the first part is therefore focused on the period between 1990 and 1996. The second part contains the analysis of legislative changes regarding sexual orientation in the period of Slovenia’s entering into the negotiations with European Union until 2004 when Republic of Slovenia became the official Member state of European Union. The third part contains the analysis of the period after the Slovenian accession.
