Summary/Abstract: This paper presents gamification platforms, which are analyzed and classified into four groups. They support the introduction of gamification in information systems. For each class its abstract functionality, advantages and disadvantages, and relevant examples are described. IT experts can use this classification to choose the right technology approach for gamification implementation in their organization. The application of gamification platforms in the field of building is presented too.
