Summary/Abstract: The main goal of the chapter is to present business sustainability as seen from the reverse logistics point of view. To complete the task, the paper is divided into two main parts. The first part deals with the literature review in the area of sustainable reverse logistics and modern managerial methods. The second part consists of the survey, which was conducted with the owners and managers of small and medium size businesses (fewer than 250 employees) in the Czech Republic, operating between the years of 2007-2011. Finally, the main findings are presented in the area of reverse logistics related to the main topics in relationship to economic effectiveness, exports and sustainability. The research gives a picture about current situation in the business sector and presents main findings about sustainable business priorities. As a contribution to the literature, the paper will highlight which elements have the biggest influence on the flexibility of business and which items are the most important for sustainable behavior in an uncertain and turbulent environment.
